On 8 October 2021 the Federal Court delivered judgment in the matter of Swiss Re International SE v LCA Marrickville Pty Limited [2021] FCA 1206, referred to as the Second COVID-19 insurance test case. Appeals are being contemplated to the Full Federal Court, to start on 8 November 2021. This timetable was in place prior to the judgment being handed down.
