Job Opportunity:
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Executive to be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The successful candidate will assist in financial closing, regulatory reporting, GST / VAT reporting and Finance projects for BHSI Branches in Asia Middle East.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare Journal Entries, Bank Reconciliations and Balance Sheet Schedules.
- Assist in preparing financial statements.
- Prepare regulatory returns and ensure compliance to regulatory timelines.
- Assist in GST and VAT reporting.
- Assist in Finance projects like e-Invoicing.
- Work closely with other teams within the organization to achieve business goals.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- University degree in Accounting or ACCA.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance.
- Candidates with demonstrated stable growth within an organisation would be viewed favourably.
- Proactive and possess good problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
