Job Opportunity:
BHSI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Accountant, to join our Stevens Point based Payroll & Finance Team. Are you a numbers enthusiast with a passion for precision? Join our dynamic team as a Payroll Accountant and play a key role in ensuring our teammates are paid accurately and on time! You’ll manage end-to-end payroll processes, maintain compliance with tax laws, and contribute to seamless financial operations while working in collaborative environment where precision and integrity are key. Duties & Responsibilities:
- Process bi-weekly payroll for nearly 1,000 teammates in 34 states using ADP (Automatic Data Processing) software.
- Registration requirements for new states and locals.
- Monitor/implement state changes/requirements related to reporting, taxes and leave.
- Review new hire setup for accuracy.
- Annual surveys and workers compensation audits.
- Also uses Concur expense software for tracking accounts payable invoices.
- Review invoices for accurate vendor and coding.
- Release invoices for payment based on due date.
- Maintain vendor list.
- Prepare monthly journal entries and account reviews.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience processing payroll.
- Strong accounting and payroll background.
- Prior experience with ADP (Automatic Data Processing) preferred.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
- Excellent communication skills.

The base salary range for this position in Stevens Point is $65,000 to $80,000 along with annual bonus eligibility. Total compensation for a candidate is determined by their relevant skills, location, and experience.
