Job Opportunity:
Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for a new team member responsible for administrative assistant & receptionist functions for our San Ramon branch office. The administrative assistant will provide administrative support to senior team members and manage general operational duties for the office.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to include calendar management, report generation
- Coordinate travel arrangements including organizing accommodations, air/ground transportation, meetings, expenses, and logistics for team, as needed
- General administrative support for larger team
- Order office supplies and provide onsite management of office equipment (telephone, printers, workstations etc.)
- Liaising with Building Management re building management issues
- Monitor & manage phone system and main phone line directing calls as appropriate
- Manage schedule and maintenance for office conference rooms and shared office space
- Other duties as identified
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years administrative assistant experience
- Experience with travel and expense applications
- Advanced interpersonal skills
- Superior verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while meeting assigned deadlines
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills

NOTE: Compensation will be commensurate with experience. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Team Member may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
The base salary range for this position is from $50,000 to $70,000, along with annual bonus eligibility; a candidate’s salary is determined by their relevant skills and experience. We value our teammates – both their capabilities and character – as demonstrated by our amazing culture.
